Agostinho Neto University issued the following announcement on July 11.

The University Agostinho Neto (UAN) announces that the funeral of its Vice-Rector for Extension and Cooperation, Professor Dr. Agatângelo Joaquim dos Santos Eduardo , will be held on July 12, 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal.

The University Agostinho Neto will provide the honorable tribute to Professor Agathangelus Eduardo, on July 12, 2019 , at the University Campus Auditorium, from 14.00, while for the effect summoned all Deans, Deputy Deans, Directors of Central Services , Directors of Research Centers, Heads of Departments, Teachers, non-teaching staff, students and other academic entities.

Professor Agatângelo Eduardo, 48 years old, graduated in Veterinary Medicine, Agostinho Neto University in partnership with the Technical University of Lisbon and Doutorou in Food Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain.

In his teaching career, Dr. Agatângelo was Full Professor of the Higher Institute of Health Sciences (ISCISA) of Agostinho Neto University.

A leading cadre endowed with charisma and a great sense of responsibility, Professor Agatângelo Eduardo was Pro-Rector for Cooperation from 2010 to 2014 and from 2015 to present he was Vice-Rector for Extension and Cooperation at Agostinho Neto University.

With its physical disappearance, the Agostinho Neto University and the country lose an academic of merit, a young professional of great talent and dedication because of the development of education in general and higher education in particular.
