Air Charter Service issued the following announcement on April 30.

Last Friday [26th April] Air Charter Service was recognised as the ‘Charter Broker of the Year’ in the Cargo Airline of the Year awards hosted by Air Cargo News and held at the Runnymede on Thames Hotel, Windsor.

The submission from Air Charter Service was said to have impressed the panel of independent industry judges, despite strong competition. The judges highlighted ‘performance and a customer focus in very challenging environments’ as the hallmarks of ACS, while also citing ‘an impressive network expansion that the company can be proud of’.

The award was presented to James Cristofoli, ACS’s Cargo Director London, by Steven Verhasselt, Head of Cargo, of award sponsor Liege Airport. Cristofoli commented: “It is an honour to pick up this award and I’d like to thank those who chose us as the charter broker of the year. Our team’s hard work over the past 12 months, and beyond, has really paid off and we are very grateful for this recognition.”

Roger Hailey, editor of Air Cargo News, said: “Air Charter Service is a worthy winner of this award for its valuable contribution to air cargo and in providing efficient supply chain solutions in a highly competitive sector. Congratulations.”
