Catholic University of Angola issued the following announcement on April 22.

The “Angolan Administrative Procedure in the Guarantor Perspective” is the title of the book by Dr. Moreira Lopes, presented Tuesday, March 26, to law students.

The presentation session, organized by the Faculty of Law (FDUCAN) and Literacy Editora, began with a welcome note from Dr. Maria de Lourdes, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Law, followed by the presentation of the book by Dr. Waldemar Freitas , professor of Constitutional Law at FDUCAN, ending with the author’s exposition.

Dr. Moreira Lopes, who is also Professor of Administrative Law at FDUCAN, started with the justification for choosing the title of the book, explaining that the procedure should not be seen only as a mechanism to legitimize the administrative decision, if not also as a instrument of democratic participation, broadening citizenship and respect for and guarantee of fundamental rights.

The Noble Hall was filled with students and guests, who put questions to the teacher and congratulated for this achievement. So far the book has also been presented to the Namibe academic community.
