Endiama issued the following announcement on May 10.
A seminar on tax council and value added tax in Angola was held last 8 May at the headquarters of ENDIAMA EP.
The meeting was chaired by Luís Neves, Member of the Fiscal Council of ENDIAMA, who made it known that the meeting aimed to discuss the applicability of the tax with users of accounting information of the national diamond.
According to the official, VAT is a responsibility of all citizens and since ENDIAMA is an important contributor, it is imperative that you pay your taxes according to the applicable laws.
The seminar was attended by the President of the Board of Directors of the Angolan state company, José Manuel Ganga Júnior, Cabinet Directors, representatives of the subsidiaries and mining projects.
It should be recalled that VAT will enter into force on 1 July 2019.
