The second day of the Africa Down Under conference was marked by the lecture by Secretary of State for Geology and Mines, Jânio Corrêa Víctor, who addressed the reinforcement of the restructuring policy that the Angolan mining sector has been observing.
During the occasion, the official stressed the privatization process planned for strategic companies of the state, giving as an example the National Diamond Company of Angola.
It is recalled that the restructuring of the diamond subsector is a goal of the Government of President João Lourenço, as is the case with oil.
