In 2018, GMA achieved one more of its milestones with the GMP+ quality certification for its bran sub product, used in animal feed.
The GMP+ certification demonstrates the rigour of the overall production process and the quality of the final product. It also demonstrates the commitment of all the GMA staff in the search of operational and product excellence.
Besides de added value of this certification for the GMA product, GMP+ stamp allows GMA to export its product to other countries that imposes high levels of rigour and quality criteria for the imported products.
To this differentiation factor that GMP+ certification brings to the bran produced at GMA, there’s another one even more relevant which is the fact tha GMA is the first mill in all African continent to have this stamp, a recognition that gives GMA a tremendous competitive advantage in its geography.
GMP+ is, therefore, a certification that will open to GMA new business opportunities and market development in the short and medium term.
