Portugal’s Justice Minister visits Luanda

Portugal’s Justice Minister Francisca Van-Dúnem is in Luanda, Angola, as part of an initiative to strengthen bilateral relations in the justice domain.

Van-Dúnem was welcomed at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport by Angolan Justice Minister Francisco Queiroz. The relationship between Angola and Portugal is said to be excellent and likely to improve over time.

During her visit, Van-Dúnem will be visiting the Department of Civil Identification and Criminal Records and will be participating in a meeting with delegates from both countries. At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement is expected to be signed for areas of civil registration, notary services and staff training.
