Scheduled for Monday, July 8 to Wednesday, July 10, U.S.-Angola Investment Week will feature an executive roundtable, business forum and more, all which will bring awareness to the economy of Angola.
Angola is the third-largest economy in Africa and one that is rich in natural and mineral resources and is ideal for investors.
Recent pushes in Angola's government improve even more the business opportunities that exist in the nation, thanks to reforms such as the Private Investment Law, Investors' Visa, Antitrust Law and other policies.
As part of Investment Week, President of the Republic of Angola Joao Lourenco will be addressing those in attendance at the Executive Roundtable and Business Forum on Monday, July 8.
The Executive Roundtable will be comprised of 40 senior corporate leaders of American and Angola companies while the Business Forum will include 500 participants from various sectors of the economy.
The new Trade Mission of Angola is hoped to build new partnerships between the United States and companies located in Angola while also encouraging investment opportunities in the nation of Angola.
The event is part of a partnership between AmCham-Angola and the U.S Chamber of Commerce's U.S.-Africa Business Center.
