Angola increased its daily oil production to 1,454,000 barrels in March, marking a 7,000-barrel increase from February, OPEC reports.
While the increase is encouraging for the African nation, it did not impact the bankruptcy for which 14 OPEC countries have registered, an event that decreased market contributions by 534,000 barrels a day.
This drop is the result of decreased outputs from Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Iraq.
Angola is currently right behind Nigeria in production. Earlier this year, Angola cut off pumping at 47,000 barrels of crude oil, allowing it to comply with its quota in the OPEC-ordered reduction.
OPEC chose to withdraw 1.2 million barrels a day, or 3.03 percent of the production, in September alone, while the original reduction was only expected to be 2.5 percent.
