Agostinho Neto University recently issued the following announcement.
The Faculty of Economics of the Agostinho Neto University receives on May 4, 2019 (Saturday), at 10:30 am, at its premises, on Avenida 4 de Fevereiro, the visit of the Representatives of the World Bank Group, who are in our country.
The meeting aims to provide an interaction between teachers, researchers and students through a lecture given by Dr. Armando Manuel, Angolan, former Minister of Finance, currently the position of Alternate Executive Director of the World Bank for Angola .
The Representatives of the World Bank Group consist of:
Armando MANUEL - Mr. Manuel, Angolan citizen, Alternate Executive Director of the World Bank Group for Angola, Nigeria, South Africa since November 1, 2018.
Christine HOGAN - Ms. Hogan, Canadian citizen, Executive Director for Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and The Bahamas since November 2016.
Fábio KANCZUK - Brazilian citizen, Executive Director representing Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Philippines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.
Guenther SCHOENLEITNER - Mr. Schoenleitner, Austrian citizen, Executive Director on the Board of the World Bank Group representing the electorate of Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey since November 2018.
Erik BETHEL - Mr. Bethel was appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate to represent the United States on the World Bank Board of Directors in April 2018.
Pierre-Olivier CHOTARD - Mr. Chotard has been the Deputy Executive Director for France since August 2018. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Chotard also acted as Advisor to the Executive Director for one year.
Fernando JIMENEZ LATORRE - Spanish citizen, Mr. Jiménez Latorre is the Deputy Executive Director of the World Bank Group representing Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain and the Republic of Venezuela since November 1, 2018.
David Stephen KINDER, CBE - Mr. Kinder is the Executive Director for the United Kingdom (EDS03) on the Board of the World Bank Group since 29 December 2017.
Minwen Zhang - Ms. Zhang is the World Bank Group's alternate executive director for China since November 2016.
Mário Augusto CAETANO JOAO - born in Angola, Mr. Caetano João has served since 2016 as advisor to the Executive Director in the Executive Board of the World Bank Group representing Angola, Nigeria and South Africa.
Karl BACH - Mr. Bach is a United States national and serves as Senior Operations Officer of the Corporate Affairs and Administration Unit of the Corporate Secretary since 2015.
