Angola will hold its first presentation under the first public tender for the allocation of mining rights for the exploration and exploitation of diamonds, iron and phosphate. The information was advanced by the Minister of Mineral Resources and Petroleum.
Diamantino de Azevedo said the announcement of the opening of the Contest aims to implement greater transparency in the management of the country's economy.
“The point is that we will be able to appreciate the proposals and choose the best one among them.”
The process includes five concessions, two of which are Diamond in Lunda Norte Province and Lunda Sul, two Phosphate in Cabinda and Zaire Provinces and one of Ferro in Kwanza Norte.
The first exhibition or “Road Show” will take place on 27 August in Luanda and the other in September in Dubai, London and Beijing.
