Jean Piaget University issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.
From the 4th to the 12th of October, as part of the activities of the Faculty of Health Sciences, the 5th edition of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Course Fair was held.
The activity was marked by two distinct moments, namely the Soap Making, whose responsibility was the trainer Bella Oden Gervais Martial of the University of Douala - Cameroon and founder of the company Societe Gic Bellomar and the 5th Edition of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Course Fair, which counted on the exposure of pharmaceutical products by students from the 1st to the 3rd year of the same course. The event was also marked with the production and launch of the 1st Piaget bleach, a result of what is produced at the University and for the University, as the production will be for the institution's use and hygiene.
Among the products presented at the fair were coconut oil, carrot oil, palm oil, colorless soap, detergents and other plants such as zyola myongo, timba timba, mother-in-law's tongue, aloe vera that are in a range University of the Botanical Garden, which supports the Pharmaceutical Sciences course.
The activity aimed to present to the academic community and society in general, the experience of what can be obtained as products from natural plants and the reuse of recycled products, such as the cooking oils used in the refectory of the University.
The fair was attended by the Magnificent Rector Professor Doctor Samuel Victorino, the Vice Rector for Teaching and Research, Professor. Dr. Rui Brochado, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Life, Prof. Eng. Lufianlisso António, AIPA Administrator, Master José Rocha, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Doctor Flaviano Za Nzambi, Vice Dean, Doctor Oscar Capote, Course Coordinator, Judith Sardinha and Assistant Coordinator Master Wilson Anilba.
