Agostinho Neto University issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
The Department of Computer Sciences of the Faculty of Science of Agostinho Neto University has obtained two gold medals with the Nsalici and Management projects of the SASSCAL Scientific research platform.
The KDMM Hybrid Phone a partnership project of excellence between the Methodist University of Angola and Agostinho Neto University (UAN), also earned a gold medal.
The silver medal was won by the Center for Research on Public Policy and Local Governance (CPPPGL) at Agostinho Neto University, with a project called “Supporting Rural Women”.
The two bronze medals were awarded to the Department of Computer Sciences of the Faculty of Science of UAN, the first with the Angolan Web Archive project and the second with the Mosquito War, SPA-PRO v2 and Mama Mandou projects.
Angola has participated in iENA since 2009. In 2017 the country already had 12 gold, 25 silver and 30 bronze medals in its account. 2018 gold rose to 13, silver 27 and bronze remained at 30.
In this edition of 2019 the medals were 19 gold, 29 silver and 32 bronze, totaling 79 medals for the country.
