Methodist University of Angola issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
Students of the Industrial Engineering and Electrical Systems Course held a field class at the Camama substation facilities, assigned to the National Electricity Transmission Network - RNT EP. The field class held on November 15, which involved the 4th and 5th grade students, served to close the 2019 academic activities of that Course. During the class, students had the opportunity to know and understand the various equipments that make up an Electrical Substation and how they work in ways that direct the flow of Energy. The students also had the privilege of knowing how the High Voltage Transport Networks are constituted and how the company acts being the entity responsible for the transport of electricity and the management of the National Electric System. the operation of the Market and the operation of the National Transport Network (Network Operation), which comprises the very high voltage network (MAT), the interconnection network, the dispatch facilities and the related goods and rights. The field class was held at Camama Substation and was led by Eng. Hamilton Dinis, a former student of the Methodist University of Angola, who took the opportunity to encourage students to achieve their goals and Eng. Paulo Filho, Head of that area.
