National Bank of Angola issued the following announcement on August 5.
The opening of the Courtroom for Litigation on Commercial, Intellectual and Industrial Property Matters, at the Luanda First Instance Court Building, last Tuesday, dominated the meeting that involved the minister of Economy and Planning Sérgio Santos, the governor of the Angolan Central Bank (BNA), José Massano, and the Presiding Judge of the Superior Council of the Judicial Magistracy, Joel Leonardo.
According to a document that has reached ANGOP, the law provides for the operation of this specialized courtroom, since until recently trade disputes were resolved by judges of the common pleas jurisdiction.
The document states that the business environment and the belief in the institutions are seen more rigorously with the entry into operation of this Luanda court section.
